Summary of the contracting process

The Hertfordshire County Council is conducting a Pre-Procurement Market Engagement (PPME) for Dementia Community Support Services. The PPME aims to gather feedback to inform the Council's decisions, without committing to a formal procurement process at this stage. Interested parties must return the supplier questionnaire by 20th November 2023. The PPME is specifically focused on social work and related services, within the UKH23 region. The buying organization is the Hertfordshire County Council, which can be contacted through the Strategic Procurement Group via telephone at +44 01707292601 or email at anita.shipman@hertfordshire.gov.uk.

This opportunity can benefit businesses in the social work sector looking to provide Dementia Community Support Services. Companies offering services such as post diagnostic support, dementia information and support, and nursing services may find this tender suitable. As the procurement process is currently in the planning stage, it allows interested businesses to engage with the Council, provide valuable feedback, and potentially influence the future tendering process for these services. Participating in the PPME will not incur any cost reimbursements from the Council, and the outcome of this engagement will help shape the Council's decisions moving forward.
