Notice Description

This notice is promulgating the intention of National Highways Limited to vary a 30 year contract dated 20th May 2009 made between it and Connect Plus (M25) Limited under which the contractor is responsible for work to Design, Build, Finance and Operate the M25 Motorway and the adjoining sections of motorway that connect to it (the "DBFO Contract"). The variation is to incorporate the provision of routine and cyclical maintenance of roadside technology into the DBFO Contract, this currently being the subject of a separate Regional Technology Maintenance Contract that expires on 31st March 2024. The variation to the DBFO Contract is not considered to be "substantial" within the meaning of regulation 72(1)(e) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
