The Contractor will carry out an overall assessment of the design solution proposed, and outline areas where greater value for money can be achieved in terms of: a) Structure b) Fabric c) Mechanical d) Electrical e) Sustainability 2. The Contractor will carry out an overall assessment of the environmental strategy/solution proposed, considering how the proposal meets the scheme requirements in respect of: a) Heating, cooling and ventilation; b) Acoustic strategy; c) Daylight and lighting; d) Energy and water management and efficiency; e) Fire safety strategy f) Sustainability 3. The Contractor will provide a realistic pre-construction and construction programme with commentary to demonstrate when key milestones will be met. Your response should include a schedule of meetings, identifying who is required at each stage. 4. The Contractor will have relevant of the following in the past 3 years. a) Refurbishment of an existing building of historic interest. b) experience of delivering a college facility c) contractor design co-ordination from Stage 4 d) value engineering e) Working in a confined site with cranes 5. The Contractor will provide information handover of the works (including installation of the ICT and FFE requirements) and the provision of staff training to ensure continuity of education delivery. 6. The Contractor will provide the design approach and how it will impact on life cycle and facilities management costs to ensure minimal energy consumption and life cycle replacement costs. Including how you have achieved the proposed capital cost for the scheme without compromising life cycle replacement costs"
