A consistent, evidence-based, and practical approach will be developed to promote resilience and reduce vulnerability to risk and the consequences of risk-taking behaviours across the full range of needs for children and young people. An holistic approach is essential to ensure that these risks/challenges are not considered in isolation resulting in siloed services which result in children and young people being passed between services. As new risks and challenges are constantly emerging, the offer will need to be responsive with flexible delivery driven by local intelligence of risk-related behaviours/challenges as they emerge. The following areas are examples of the types of issues to be included in the offer: Substance misuse (not specialist/treatment) Anger management Sexual health and healthy relationships/social media/safety Healthy eating/weight management.
