Notice Description
Supply of vehicle spare parts and workshop consumables for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service including both generic after market and specialist/original equipment manufacturers' parts. Original Equipment Manufacturers spares will be required in order to maintain certain vehicles' Statutory Type Approvals or in instances where a manufacturer holds design rights, patents, or other similar intellectual property in the supplies concerned and/or an original part is required for reasons of technical compatibility; as provided for in Regulation 43 (12)(a) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015

The Service is obliged to comply with the regulations and any eligible economic operator can bring an action in the Sheriff Court or the Court of Session where, as a consequence of a breach by the Service, they suffer or risk suffering loss or damage.
