This service includes the Provision of structured education for patients newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This offers a one-off four hour session offered to patients newly diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. It offers support and understanding of their condition and effective ways to manage their own health, including exercise and healthy eating. This is offered as a virtual session or a face to face session. It is for small groups, so that the patients interact with the trainer and each other. It is designed to help patients to feel less alone and isolated at a challenging time.",
