Norfolk County Council is seeking to procure a Tier 2 Weight Management Service for Children and Young People in Norfolk. The Service will commence on the 1st of October 2024. Norfolk County Council are seeking to procure a Tier 2 Weight Management Service for Children and Young People in Norfolk. The Service will commence on the 1st of October 2024. The Provider will be expected to deliver evidence-based interventions to support Children and Young People (CYP) who are identified as overweight or obese (Over 91st Centile) within a whole family approach. The programme will be multicomponent that includes diet, nutrition and behaviour change techniques alongside access to physical activity interventions with the focus being behaviour change to provide CYP and their families with a legacy of healthy lifestyle choices. The Provider will ensure access to appropriate expertise in the design of the provision. This will include qualified experts such as Dieticians, Nutritionists, Behaviour change specialists and Physical activity specialists. The provider will build robust pathways with the Tier 1 and Tier 3 weight management provision in Norfolk.
