Summary of the contracting process

The Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is planning a procurement initiative titled "Leasehold Purchase, Operation, and Development of Key Worker Accommodation at Salisbury District Hospital" within the real estate services industry category. The Trust is holding a pre-market engagement webinar on Wednesday, 21st February, to seek a partner for delivering expanded keyworker and student accommodation at Salisbury Hospital. This initiative aims to improve the quality and quantity of on-site accommodation, involving a partnership with other organisations like Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Foundation Trust, Avon and Wiltshire Partnership, Wiltshire Council, and Coventry University Group.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses in the real estate services sector interested in keyworker and student accommodation development. Suitable candidates would be providers able to purchase the existing estate on a leasehold basis, own, operate, and manage the estate, and collaborate with Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust in site development. Businesses focused on affordable housing, healthcare worker accommodation, and supporting educational providers like Coventry University would find this tender particularly relevant. The pre-market engagement webinar is crucial for understanding the project's nature and providing valuable input that can lead to high-quality market responses.
