    "description": "This is a notice of award for a contract under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 - Competitive Process. The service is for NHS Health Checks - Community Provision in Norfolk. A framework agreement has not been established for this requirement and a framework agreement was not used to procure this contract. The contract is for 36 months with the right to extend for a further 48 months. The contract is to start 1 October 2024. The value included in this notice is for the first 36 months not including VAT or any inflation increases agreed by the Council in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract. This contract is for a new service. The Council did have a previous contract for Health Checks but this contract and specification are significantly different. The winning provider is an existing supplier. No conflicts of interest were declared during the procurement process. The decision makers for this award were the Council's Head of Complex Transactions and Sourcing and the Council's Assistant Director - Public Health Commissioning.
