Notice Description
The Service provides specialist palliative and end of life care as part of the End of Life Care (EoLC) provision delivered by multiple providers including local hospices, local hospitals, and community services. The service provides an overnight nursing service for patients in their usual place of residence who are in the end-of-life stage of their illness whose needs can be met through short episodes of night care to support their needs and their carer's through a skilled and qualified workforce.

The Service provides specialist palliative and end of life care as part of the End of Life Care (EoLC) provision delivered by multiple providers including local hospices, local hospitals, and community services. The service provides an overnight nursing service for patients in their usual place of residence who are in the end-of-life stage of their illness whose needs can be met through short episodes of night care to support their needs and their carer's through a skilled and qualified workforce. NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB is intending to award a contract an existing provider following direct award process C of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. Approximate lifetime value of the contract is PS654,760. Contract term - 01/04/2024 - 31/03/2025 (includes an option to extend by 1 year)
Options: Contract contains an option to extend by 1 year.
Procurement Information
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 23:59hrs 27 March 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded. This notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
