Notice Description
The service provides 24/7 video-enabled clinical healthcare support into care homes. The system allows nursing and residential care homes to connect to the Airedale Hub for clinical advice and guidance. The aim of the service is to avoid alternative health services being used where it is possible to care for residents in their usual place of residence and reduce pressure on local NHS services. The focus of the service is that residents in care homes are provided with a professional, responsive, and caring service that provides support tailored to their individual needs to enable them to access appropriate health care services and to live a full life.

The system allows nursing and residential care homes to connect to the Airedale Hub for clinical advice and guidance. The aim of the service is to avoid alternative health services being used where it is possible to care for residents in their usual place of residence and reduce pressure on local NHS services. The focus of the service is that residents in care homes are provided with a professional, responsive, and caring service that provides support tailored to their individual needs to enable them to access appropriate health care services and to live a full life. NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB is intending to award a contract an existing provider following direct award process C of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. Approximate lifetime value of the contract is PS1,114,104 Contract term - 01/04/2024 - 31/03/2025 (contract term may be extended by 1 year)
Options: Contract contains an option to extend by 1 year
Procurement Information
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 23:59hrs 27 March 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded. This notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
