A palliative and end of life care service for patients aged over 18 years requiring domiciliary end of life care, complex symptom management and assessment of their changing condition and/or disease progression. The focus of the service is to improve the quality of care for patients at the end of their life with the aim of ensuring that patients have the optimum quality of life until death.

The focus of the service is to improve the quality of care for patients at the end of their life with the aim of ensuring that patients have the optimum quality of life until death. NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB is intending to award a contract an existing provider following direct award process C of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. Approximate lifetime value of the contract is PS1,049,864 Contract term - 01/04/2024 - 31/03/2025 (contract term may be extended by 1 year)
Options: Contract contains an option to extend by 1 year
Procurement Information
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 23:59hrs 27 March 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded. This notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
