Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is currently developing their service specification and contracting process for the Provision of Managed Equipment Service for Cardiac Catheter Laboratories. This Preliminary Market Consultation Questionnaire seeks the views and opinions of stakeholders and organisations that may be interested in delivering a fully Managed Equipment Service. This engagement exercise and any subsequent responses are in no way legally binding on any party. Participation in the engagement exercise is not a mandatory requirement for participating in any potential future procurement; however, responses received will assist to inform the Contracting Authority as to the level of interest from the market and will be used to evidence a procurement strategy decision. The Services described in this questionnaire and the draft specification, relates to the Contracting Authority's intention to establish a contract agreement for an estimated 12 years with potential option to extend at the Contracting Authority's discretion. An indicative overall total contract value of up to PS301m for the full 12 year term. The Questionnaire and current draft Service Specification can be obtained from contracts finder link - https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/Notice/d97b1dd2-7dc8-42a2-b095-e7e342ddf933 or purchasing@mft.nhs.uk. Additional information: The fully Managed Equipment Service will involve: - Financing, installation, and upkeep of all necessary equipment and materials; - Procuring and managing consumable medical supplies and ensuring adequate stock; - Hiring and training staff to maintain seamless access to qualified personnel; and - Coordinating with any involved third parties to ensure integrated service delivery.
