Notice Description
Leicester City Council proposes to enter into one or more Contracts for a maximum period of 60 months with the successful Supplier(s). The Insurance and Claims Management Services have been divided into the following Lots; 1. Property (including Computers, Contract Works, Business Interruption, Money and All Risks) 2. Industrial and Commercial Properties 3. Casualty (Combined Liability) 4. General Motor Fleet 5. Personal Accident & Travel 6. Engineering & Inspection 7. Fine Art & Museums
Lot Information
Property (including Computers, Contract Works, Business Interruption, Money and All Risks)
Property (including Computers, Contract Works, Business Interruption, Money and All Risks) General Properties including contents, fixtures and fittings, machinery, lifts etc. Please note that the Council's portfolio includes a diverse range of properties including offices, stores, depots, pavilions and public toilets and libraries
Options: Option to extend for up to a further two years after the initial term of 3 years.
Renewal: The Long-Term Agreement is to be for an initial period of three years with an option to extend for up to a further two years.
Industrial and Commercial PropertiesAll Industrial / Commercial Properties owned by or for which the council is responsible. The Council has a number of commercial shops, offices, depots and small industrial units rented to local businesses.
Options: Option to extend for up to a further two years after the initial term of 3 years.
Renewal: The Long-Term Agreement is to be for an initial period of three years with an option to extend for up to a further two years.
Casualty (Combined Liability)This Lot incorporates the following classes of business: - Employer's Liability - Public and Products Liability - Officials Indemnity - Libel and Slander - Professional Indemnity
Options: Option to extend for up to a further two years after the initial term of 3 years.
Renewal: The Long-Term Agreement is to be for an initial period of three years with an option to extend for up to a further two years.
General Motor FleetThis Lot incorporates the following classes of business: - Main General Motor Fleet - Vehicles Insured: Vehicles owned, leased and operated by the insured including vehicles on hire or loan for which the Insured becomes responsible.
Options: Option to extend for up to a further two years after the initial term of 3 years.
Renewal: The Long-Term Agreement is to be for an initial period of three years with an option to extend for up to a further two years.
Personal Accident and TravelThis Lot incorporates the following class of business: - Personal Accident and Travel - Main Policy
Options: Option to extend for up to a further two years after the initial term of 3 years.
Renewal: The Long-Term Agreement is to be for an initial period of three years with an option to extend for up to a further two years.
Engineering & InspectionThis Lot incorporates the following classes of business: - Engineering Insurance - Engineering Inspection
Options: Option to extend for up to a further two years after the initial term of 3 years.
Renewal: The Long-Term Agreement is to be for an initial period of three years with an option to extend for up to a further two years.
Fine Art & MuseumsThis Lot covers 'all risks' of accidental loss or damage including theft and in transit in respect of Gallery and Museum Exhibits of every description and/or Civic Insignia and regalia comprising silver and gold items and/or other historic pieces and/or Works of Art of whatsoever nature forming part of the Insured's collection and/or on loan.
Options: Option to extend for up to a further two years after the initial term of 3 years.
