Supply, Delivery and Collection of De-Polluted Vehicles for Lot 1 - Dorset and Lot 2 - Wiltshire
Notice Description
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Authority has a requirement for the supply, delivery and collection of End-of-life Vehicles (ELV) which have been depolluted, for training and demonstration purposes. This will also include the collection of occasional Scrap Metal. The vehicles will have been prior depolluted, checked for safety and certified as compliant prior to delivery. The vehicles will remain the property of the Successful Bidder.The vehicles will be used by Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service Firefighters to obtain training experience in cutting the vehicle, removal of doors/roof and other parts of the vehicle and can also include setting fire to the vehicle, so that the Firefighters can learn techniques in the use of firefighting equipment and extricating driver/passengers safely from a vehicle.The Procurement will be split into Lots as detailed below:Lot 1 - Dorset Area Lot 2 - Wiltshire AreaBidders may bid for one or more Lots.

Renewal: Lot 1 - The Authority proposes to enter into a contract with the Successful Bidder for a period of two years and one month. The contract will commence on 1st October 2024, or as near as possible to this date. The initial term will expire 31st October 2026. The Authority may extend the contract for further period not exceeding one year or 12 months in total.
Lot 2 - WiltshireSupply, Delivery and Collection of De-Polluted Vehicles for Lot 2 - Wiltshire
