Notice Description

Network Rail is looking to put in place a contract(s) for the provision of scrap metal skips collection and disposal services as and when required by Network Rail's Supply Chain Operation team. The requirement will be for supplier(s) to provide skips at various Network Rail locations, collect the skips once full and exchange for a replacement empty skip. The supplier will then be tasked with disposing of the waste on Network Rail's behalf compliantly against environmental waste disposal standards. As the waste is a revenue steam for the supplier(s), the supplier(s) will be requested through the commercial model to provide a 'Percentage Margin' reduction on scrap metal and cable which will be measured against, but not limited to, the 'Metal Bulletin' and 'London Metal and Exchange (LME)', on a weekly basis agreed by Network Rail.
