Notice Description

Essex County Council ("the Council") is seeking to secure a range of effective, reliable and efficient providers to deliver Individual Packages of Educational Support Services to enable the authority to meet its statutory responsibilities to provide suitable education for children of compulsory school age, who due to exclusion or otherwise are unable to attend school. This procurement will be conducted under the light touch regime and incorporate the following four lots: Lot1 Tuition Services, Lot 2 Vocational Services, Lot 3 Virtual Learning Services and Lot 4: Therapeutic ReEngagement Services (Supplementary Education). Further details regarding the Council's requirements for each of these lots can be found within the service specification. Lot Information

Tuition Services

This lot is designed to provide tuition services in a range of subjects including but not limited to core subjects, GCSEs and functional skills to students of compulsory school age, who due to exclusion or otherwise are unable to attend school. This tuition can either be delivered on a one to one basis with an individual student or in a group setting. Further details of the Council's requirements for this lot can be found within the service specification for this procurement.

Vocational Services

This lot is designed to provide alternative educational provision across a wide range of subject areas to students of compulsory school age, who due to exclusion or otherwise are unable to attend school. This provision can either be delivered on a one to one basis with an individual student or in a group setting. Further details of the Council's requirements for this lot can be found within the service specification for this procurement.

Virtual Learning Services

This lot is designed to provide online delivery of educational support across a variety of subject areas to students of compulsory school age, who due to exclusion or otherwise are unable to attend school. This tuition can either be delivered on a one to one basis with an individual student or in a group setting. Further details of the Council's requirements for this lot can be found within the service specification for this procurement.

Early Intervention Re-integration

This lot is designed to provide therapeutic activities including but not limited to music, art, drama and play therapies to students of compulsory school age, who due to exclusion or otherwise are unable to attend school with the overarching aim of enabling them to re-integrate into education. This therapy can either be delivered on a one to one basis with an individual student or in a group setting.
