Notice Description
This service relates to the provision of a community vasectomy service. The service will provide safe non-scalpel vasectomy under local anaesthetic (LA) in a primary/community care setting in accordance with the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists - Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare Clinical Guidance - Male & Female Sterilisation (2014).

NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board (GM ICB) is currently developing their service specification and contracting process for the Provision of Non-Scalpel Vasectomy Service. This Market Engagement Questionnaire seeks the views and opinions of stakeholders and organisations that may be interested in delivering the Service. This exercise and any subsequent responses are in no way legally binding on any party. Participation in the engagement exercise is not a mandatory requirement for participating in any potential future procurement; however, responses received will assist to inform GM ICB as to the level of interest from the market and may be used to evidence the most appropriate procurement route. The Market Engagement Questionnaire and current draft Service Specification can be downloaded from the SAP Ariba Portal reference Doc2128064687 at the below link: https://discovery.ariba.com/rfx/20620821 Please return your completed MEQ through the SAP Ariba Portal by 12 noon, 12 September 2024. Additional information: The Provision of Non-Scalpel Vasectomy Service described in this questionnaire and the draft specification, relates to the GM ICB intention to establish a contract agreement for up to a number of three years with the option to extend for an additional two years, with an indicative budget of PS325 per patient and an estimated yearly value of up to PS650,000 dependant on activity levels with an estimated overall total contract value of up to PS3,250,000, including extensions.
