Summary of the contracting process

The Communities and Housing Investment Consortium Limited (CHIC) has issued an amendment notice for its Grounds Maintenance Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), first published in 2017. The central purchasing body CHIC, based in Birmingham, UK, has updated the expected termination of this DPS to 27th October 2028. Any contract awarded under this system will continue to be managed under the Public Contract Regulations 2015. This procurement process falls under the services category, specifically grounds maintenance services, and is open to various public sector bodies across the UK, including housing associations, local authorities, government departments, registered charities, the NHS, emergency services, educational institutions, and museums. CHIC invites participation in this DPS for its remaining term, with the right to review the system annually, potentially amending it as per regulatory provisions.

Participation in this DPS offers significant business growth opportunities for companies providing grounds maintenance services. The estimated value of contracts through this DPS is approximately £20,000,000, presenting substantial potential revenue for successful bidders. Businesses specialising in landscaping, horticulture, and maintenance services would be well-suited to compete. Engaging with this procurement process allows businesses to secure contracts across various public sector organisations, proving advantageous for scaling operations and expanding market presence within the UK. Eligible businesses are encouraged to join CHIC's DPS to gain access to a wide range of public sector clients, enhancing their portfolio and driving growth.
