"description": "BlueLight Commercial are issuing this Prior Information Notice (PIN) as an invitation to our Market Engagement Event to gather information and to gain a better understanding of the capacity of the market for Media Digitisation. Policing is defining Media Digitisation as the conversion of analogue recordings into digital formats. BlueLight Commercial are looking for solutions with the ability to digitise analogue audio and visual media, provide storage and a platform to search for media using multiple search fields and facilitate playback. The focus at present is on digitisation VHS, DVD's and CD's, however, we are interested to understand the capabilities around other media types too, e.g. Mini-Disc, USB, Cassette Audio Tapes and Microfiche. BlueLight Commercial would like to invite you to register your interest in attending an individual engagement session. During the session you will be given the opportunity to demonstrate your solution and expand on pre-requisite areas around scalability, hosting, integrations, licensing models, solution roadmap and ROM (rough order of magnitude) costs. The session will also include some of our colleagues from policing. The intention is to hold the session w/c 23rd September 2024. A date will be allocated following receipt of expression of interest.
