Outcome of bids for development funding to support inpatient pathway transformation
Notice Description
Funding bids were invited from our NHS and VCFSE Provider Collaborative Partners for service developments and innovative projects which align with the priorities set out in the draft Birmingham and Solihull ICS 3 Year Strategic Plan for Mental Health Inpatient Services (including Rehabilitation and care for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism).

Lot 1
This Notice is an intention to award 9 contracts to 6 provider organisations of MH/LD&A Services, who each met all the criteria under the Most Suitable Provider assessment. Each contract period is for 1 years, with the option to extend, subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. The total value is approximately PS1,294,647 for the lifetime of the proposed contracts excluding the optional extension periods.
Options: Dependent on available funding, extensions can be agreed if the deliverables in the original proposals are met
Procurement Information
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 19 September 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR'.
