The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is currently in the tender stage for the "NICE External Assessment Groups Framework", a public procurement process valued at £3,345,000 GBP. This framework, focused on research and development services and related consultancy in the health sector, involves multiple Lots covering Clinical and Economic Evidence Assessment, Technical and Decision Support, Evidence Generation to support Access, and Research Governance and Ethics Support. The framework encourages collaboration among suppliers to ensure comprehensive service offerings, thereby providing a platform for businesses to expand their portfolios and participate in influential health technology assessment and guideline development projects. Businesses with robust capabilities in these areas are well-suited to compete for the multiple Lots, potentially gaining long-term engagements and valuable industry connections.
