City Property Glasgow (CPG) will, in the coming months, publish an open tender looking to obtain the services of a company to manage a turnkey waste management solution across multiple waste streams generated at Blochairn Market. CPG currently manages contracts relating to 8 different waste streams at this site - organic waste, general waste, cardboard, wood, plastics (soft films), plastics (rigid), polystyrene and fish waste. CPG intend for a single supplier to take responsibility for the management of all waste streams and are looking for expressions of interest from suppliers capable of undertaking this responsibility.

Additional information: Scotland Excel is acting on behalf of City Property Glasgow in the execution of this tender but will not be party to the contract or the management of the contract throughout its lifetime.
