Please contact emma.peate@sng.org.uk Sovereign Housing Association Limited have purchased land via a 999-year lease from Empire Fighting Chance at The Mill youth Centre, Lower Ashley Road, Easton, Bristol, BS5 0YJ. Empire Fighting Chance (EFC) is a Bristol based charity working to fight the impact of deprivation on young people's lives. Over the last 20 years it has grown from an amateur boxing club in the inner city to a regional charity which uses non-contact boxing and intensive personal support to challenge and inspire 4,000 young people each year. SNG are committed to deliver 38 homes and a new basketball court on the area of the existing outdoor basketball court. The basketball court will be leased back to Empire Fighting Chance. The facility will be named after Marlon Thomas who suffered a racist attack at a Bristol fair in 1993. The scheme will also off er a mix of homes for rent and shared ownership, accessed via a shared core. The homes comprise of 1 and 2 bed apartments, with associated access, parking, amenities and landscaping. Site Area: 0.35ha
