Notice Description
Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services is looking for a dynamic organisation to support Glasgow's GP Enhanced Service (Shared Care) which engages people using drugs in the community. The GP Enhanced Service provides Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) to people in the community using street drugs to minimise harms. Glasgow currently has 139 GP practices. Approximately 1000 people are receiving MAT through the enhanced service. The provider will deliver recovery supports to individuals, prescribed MAT within the enhanced service, who have low-to-medium needs. The provider will reach in to shared care GP practices and communities in the north east, north west and south of Glasgow. Support will be person-centred and trauma-informed. The provider will use strength-based assessments and activities to support people in their recovery. The contract will be for a period of 3 years from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028 with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12 month periods subject to budget availability and on mutually agreed terms and conditions. The contract will be awarded to one supplier, (1 Lot), to cover the Glasgow City geographical area: North East, North West and South
