The Trust are seeking a main contractor for the re-modelling and refurbishment works to the Grade II listed building, allow the Church to start re-providing services/funerals/weddings etc from the venue, to provide a refreshed visitor experience, improved education facilities, cafe/ bar, events/activity space and flexible office facilities. This enquiry is to seek expressions of interest in order that the client can invite tenders from a short list of suitable companies to provide a fixed price lump sum contract which will be let under a JCT Standard Building Contract with Quantities. The Contractor should acknowledge that the Trust intend to retain the services of all the consultant team. Therefore, consultant novation's are not proposed. The 'Food Bank' has now been relocated to a temporary unit in the car park due to safety issues of using the building.
