East Berkshire Stroke Support Service
Notice Description
Bracknell Forest Council, Slough Borough Council, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Frimley Integrated Care Board are jointly commissioning a Stroke Support Service for East Berkshire for a three year period, with optional additions of two further one-year periods. This service is intended to support any stroke survivor, of all ages, or person who is affected by Transient Ischemic Attack, their families, and carers, who are resident in East Berkshire. The aims of the Stroke Support Service will be to offer personalised support both practically and emotionally to rehabilitate survivors, their families, and carers, and to help them understand stroke and reduce the risk of further stroke.

Bracknell Forest Council are commissioning a Stroke Support Service on behalf of an East Berkshire Partnership, consisting of Bracknell Forest Council, Slough Borough Council, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Frimley Integrated Care Board. The duration of the contract will be for a three year period, with optional additions of two further one-year periods. This service is intended to support any stroke survivor, of all ages, or person who is affected by Transient Ischemic Attack, their families, and carers, who are resident in East Berkshire. The aims of the Stroke Support Service will be to offer personalised support both practically and emotionally to rehabilitate survivors, their families, and carers, and to help them understand stroke and reduce the risk of further stroke. This is an open tender process.
Renewal: The duration of the contract will be 3 years, with the option to extend for up to a further two years in periods of up to one year at a time.
