Summary of the contracting process

NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board (ICB) is in the planning stage of procuring 'Mental Health Specialist Advisory (and Support) Services'. The initiative focuses on health services, particularly mental health, and will serve the East Berkshire region of the Frimley ICS. The market engagement is set to gauge provider interest with a deadline for questionnaire submissions by 5pm on 29th November 2024. The total contract value is estimated to be £600,000 with an indicative annual value of £120,000, projected to last for three years with potential yearly extensions. Providers can view and express interest in the opportunity through the Atamis e-procurement system.

This tender represents a substantial opportunity for businesses specialising in mental health services, particularly those experienced in supporting clients with significant mental health issues who are unable to benefit from more generic services. Businesses capable of providing comprehensive and specialised support within the available resources across East Berkshire will find this tender beneficial for growth. Given the nature of the services and the focus on localised delivery within Frimley North, providers with a strong regional presence or those looking to expand into this area will be well-placed to compete.
