The provider must have experience of providing: * stop smoking services via a drug-free solution * cognitive restructuring/retraining therapy * seminar-based interventions delivered by therapists via online video programme (so that users can access the service at a time which is convenient to them) and live online groups via a digital platform (if users wish to engage as part of a group) * a clinically proven method * shorter backup sessions, telephone support, and email support to those who may require further assistance * a mechanism for contacting clients and recording success rates * quick mobilisation of programmes. We require the service provider to have a model which is ready to be mobilised by the end of December 2024 to limit the amount of time required to start supporting Hertfordshire Residents * a solution which is compliant with the requirements of all data protection legislation, primarily but not exclusively the UK GPDR and Data Protection Act 2018, and any amending or replacement legislation to ensure the protection of the rights of data subjects. This notice is an intention to award a contract using the Most Suitable Provider (MSP) process under the Provider Selection Regime. The approximate lifetime value of the contract is PS375,000 which includes any available extensions. The contract will be for an initial period until 31st March 2025, with the possibility to extend on an annual basis up until 31st March 2029 if funding allows and subject to satisfactory performance at the discretion of HCC. This is a new service with a new provider. The contract is expected to commence on 27th December 2024.
