Supply of upgraded deposition system
Notice Description
Upgrades are required to the existing Ultra High Rate Deposition Cell to achieve the requirements for identified applications. This procurement will provide the NCC with next generation Roll-up Roll-out head designs for accurate +/-1mm, large-format material placement. The installed system will be capable of multi-material processing including fabrics and non-structural materials.
Procurement Information
Justification for awarding this contract without prior publication of a call for competition in accordance with Article 32 (5) (b) PCR 2015. The current deposition system is bespoke and is made nowhere else, the OEM is the only one who could work on this equipment to upgrade and develop the system for future use.
