Summary of the contracting process

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is planning a series of SECRET UK EYES ONLY (SUKEO) Security Briefings related to the UAS/C-UAS programme. The briefings aim to inform industry partners and will be held periodically at a London venue, with the first session scheduled for 10th March 2025 from 12:30 to 16:00. Subsequent briefings are anticipated in June/July 2025. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage, and the MoD is inviting expressions of interest from potential providers by 21st February 2024. Attendance is limited to two representatives per company, requiring extant Security Clearance. These briefings are classified under the CPV code 35730000 (Electronic warfare systems and counter measures) and are intended for the UK region.

This tender offers significant business growth opportunities for small or medium enterprises (SMEs) specialised in electronic warfare systems and countermeasures. Participating in these briefings can provide valuable insights and potential collaboration opportunities within the C-UAS programme. Businesses well-suited to compete include those with existing security clearances and capabilities in the specified industry category. Interested suppliers are encouraged to register on the MOD Supplier Information Database (SID) to maximise their engagement with the MoD for future procurement activities. This proactive engagement can enhance their visibility and potential for securing future contracts within the defence sector.
