Works to restore the Birnbeck Pier Structure connecting the mainland to the Birnbeck Island. This structure is Listed Grade II*. In summary, the works within scope are: * The removal, renovation and replacement of Birnbeck Pier bridge. * Dismantling and re-erection of the two bridge abutments. * Reinstatement of 14 No. Semi-circular cantilevered bays. * Bench seating running longitudinally along pier length (option dependant on budget). * Appropriate lighting (option dependant on budget).
