Summary of the contracting process

The Crown Estate Commissioners are initiating a public procurement process to establish a framework for the Future Offshore Wind Sustainability & Supply Chain Advisor. This framework, part of the Future Offshore Wind (FOSW) Programme, will support the delivery of the programme and multiple leasing rounds. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage, with a market engagement webinar scheduled for Wednesday, 12 February 2025, from 15:00 to 16:00 (UTC+00:00). The webinar aims to provide an overview of the tender process and present three new Future Offshore Wind frameworks. The selected advisor will assist in areas related to social value, nature, net zero, and supply chain throughout the main phases of the leasing tender rounds, including advisory and tender support. The procurement method will follow the GPA guidelines, with further details and a detailed scope to be published during the Selection Questionnaire (SQ) stage.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses experienced in providing advisory services within the offshore wind sector. Companies specialising in social value, environmental sustainability, net zero initiatives, and supply chain management are particularly well-suited to compete for this framework agreement. Additionally, the advisor's role includes offering additional advisory services to other marine sectors, potentially expanding business prospects. Participating in this tender could enhance a company's portfolio in the growing offshore wind industry and establish long-term relationships with The Crown Estate Commissioners, based in London, UK. This engagement sets a pathway for sustained business growth through collaboration on future offshore wind leasing rounds and related projects.
