Notice Description
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking to award primary healthcare services to the patients of His Majesty's Prison (HMP) & Young Offenders Institution (YOI) Parc. The purpose of healthcare in prisons and YOIs is to provide an excellent, safe, and effective service to all ensuring the quality of services delivered (and access to services) is of an equivalent standard to that of the community. This is both in terms of range of interventions available to patients which meet their needs, and the quality and standard of those interventions. This all contributes towards reducing health inequalities between patients in prison and in the wider community.
Lot Information
GP Out of Hours Service HMP & YOI Parc Prison
GP In Hours and GP Out of Hours services. The purpose of these services is to provide GP In and Out of Hours provision to prisoners and children within HMP & YOI Parc Prison. These services provide medical advice, treatment and prescribing of medication. The GP can also refer people to other healthcare professionals to diagnose or treat specific aspects of the condition. The requirement will be split into 2 lots, Lot 1 for the provision of GP In Hours and Lot 2 for the provision of GP Out of Hours. The providers will be required to submit proposals for each lot they wish to tender for. Each lot will be individually evaluated and awarded.
Renewal: Option to extend for up to 2 years in 2 x 12 months intervals
