The Council is involved in a range of partnerships to better understand the drivers of inequality and the impact of COVID-19. Under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR), officers utilised the 'Most Suitable Provider Process' to identify six VCSO's best placed to form HET's with Health Equity Fellows (HEF's). The services will be contracted for a period of two years from 6th June 2025 to 31st May 2027. The annual contract value will be PS40,000 for each VSCO and PS80,000 for the duration of the contract over two years. For all six organisations the values will be PS240k over a year and PS480k over 2 years. This notice is placed to set out Lewisham Council's intention to award a contract under the Most Suitable Provider Process of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR).",

The successful providers were evaluated by the panel as being the 6 VCSO's that best met the key criteria and scored the highest scores using Lewisham Council's Scoring Matrix. They provided robust additional information that evidenced that they were the Most Suitable Organisations. Award decisions have been recommended by the Director of Public Health, Health Inequalities Project Officer, a representative from SIRG (Social Inclusion Recovery Group providing the Community Voice), the Community of Practice Lead for Health Equity (representing SEL ICB) and the Public Health Commissioning Manager for Lewisham Council, with key decision makers being Executive Director of Adult Social Care and Health. No conflicts of interest were declared. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by midnight on 6th June 2025.
