The scope of this contract includes provision of a high intensity residential treatment (also known as residential rehabilitation) in a drug and alcohol-free environment for individuals with a medium to high dependency on alcohol or other drugs who have complex problems related to their drug and/or alcohol use, and who are aged 18 years or over and a Liverpool resident. Liverpool City Council intend to award a contract, following a competitive procurement process.

The scope of this contract includes provision of a high intensity residential treatment (also known as residential rehabilitation) in a drug and alcohol-free environment for individuals with a medium to high dependency on alcohol or other drugs who have complex problems related to their drug and/or alcohol use, and who are aged 18 years or over and a Liverpool resident. Liverpool City Council (LCC) ran a competitive process under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This notice is an intention to award a contract under the competitive process. The approximate lifetime of this contract is 33 months (inclusive of a 12 month extension). This is an existing service with an existing provider to be delivered between 1 July 2026 and 31 March 2028 Additional information: The contract award criteria are specified in the procurement documents

Options: Option of a 12 month extension.

Renewal: Optional 12 month extension at the discretion of the Council.
