Notice Description
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. <br/><br/>This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process C. <br/><br/>The contract award date is 9th April 2025, and the standstill period took place between 13th March 2025 and 25th March 2025. The business case including the recommendation to award the contract under Provider Selection Regime Process C was approved by the ICB's Strategic Finance & Commissioning Committee on 9/1/25 and one potential conflict of interest was noted and mitigated. The contract will be for one year from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026, with an optional one year extension until 31st March 2027. The maximum value of the new contract is PS97,400,000 per annum. Should the optional extension be used, the maximum contract value for the 2-year period is PS194,800,000.

This notice is to inform the market of NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board's intention to award this contract following a direct award process C to its incumbent supplier, Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust, to continue to deliver Community Services within Hertfordshire and West Essex.
The contract which will commence on 1st April 2025 and will end on 31st March 2026 with the option to extend for a further year to 31st March 2027.
