  • Contract Summary

Expression of Interest: Asset Verification and PPM Planning The City of Liverpool College is engaging with the market to benchmark costs and assess the feasibility of conducting a comprehensive asset verification across 100% of its estate. The college comprises five buildings, totalling approximately 50,000 sqm. Please note that the college has very limited existing asset information available. Suppliers should assume they are starting from scratch when compiling the asset register. We seek to capture all assets within this verification, excluding IT hardware (e.g., desktops, monitors). The scope includes: • Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems • Internal and external building fabric • Specialist and vocational assets (e.g., boilers, fume cupboards, sewing machines) The asset verification must encompass both ground-level and above-head-height assets, including those located above suspended ceilings. The final asset register must classify assets in accordance with CIBSE Guide M (Alphabetical Grading), capturing age and condition data to support the college's future lifecycle strategy. (Please note: the lifecycle strategy itself is outside the scope of this engagement.) Additionally, we require suppliers to provide a full Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) planner upon completion of the asset verification. This planner must incorporate all statutory, mandatory, and other relevant maintenance requirements, structured to allow further refinement by the college through consultation. Scope Summary: • Comprehensive asset verification aligned with CIBSE Guide M • Development of a PPM planner covering statutory, mandatory, and additional maintenance needs Suppliers are invited to submit proposals detailing their methodology, timeline, and cost breakdown for this work. Please note site visits can be conducted on 15th & 16th April 2025, no set times as companies can come and go and be escorted by our FT's (Facilities Technicians), due to the Easter break coming up please can you contact to arrange this before 4.30pm on 10th April as admin will not be available to book a company in otherwise, thank you. UPDATE: THERE ARE 6 PFD FILES THAT CAN BE EMAILED OUT TO INTERESTED PARTIES, PLEASE CAN YOU REQUEST THESE TO ALLOW YOU TO RESPOND WITH INDICATIVE COSTS/FEEDBACK.
