NYY CAMHS Early intervention support service
Notice Description
The service will be an integrated referral system delivered alongside and referring into NYY TEWV CAMHS. The service will provide early intervention group and 1:1 modalities to support children and young people. The aim of the service is to improve outcomes for children and young people's mental health by strengthening the range of mental health support available to children and young people. This includes: - Early interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate emotional and mental health difficulties. It is anticipated this will be primarily around low mood and anxiety. - Contribute to schools developing a whole school approach towards emotional and mental well-being through the delivery of training and consultations. - Contribute to the whole pathway of support within the i Thrive model in North Yorkshire primarily providing support in the 'Getting Advice' and 'Getting Help' quadrants. This service will reduce mainstream pressure and reduce secondary care referrals.

This is an early intervention CAMHS service to be delivered in NYY. The trust intend to award this contract to an existing provider following direct award process C this is an extension to an existing contract and will have a remaining term of 24 months, from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2027, when the service will be provided.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 25/03/25. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
