Northern Gas are unable to tender this equipment due to the Caldervale preloaded/inbuilt software which manages Northern Gases joint management/compliance system for electrofusion joints through Calder Safe technology. New Electrofusion Boxes may be purchased over the lifetime of the contract for replacement of equipment beyond economical repair or if there are future demands for new equipment on the Network.",
