ECH is delivered within 7 schemes across Plymouth where people (the majority aged 55+) have their own self-contained homes as part of a larger complex, have a legal right to occupy the property and have the provision of 24/7 on-site care and support. The duration of the contract (Lots 1-4) is for 4 years with possible extensions of 2 years plus 2 years. The total contract values for Lots 1 - 4 (4+2+2), taking into account potential inflationary increases are detailed below: Lot 1: Extra Care Housing North Locality: PS4m Lot 2: Extra Care Housing East Locality: PS4.6m Lot 3: Extra Care Housing South Locality: PS10m Lot 4: Extra Care Housing West Locality: PS13m

Planning Information
Plymouth City Council will be holding market engagement events with organisations interested in providing care and support services within our Extra Care Housing schemes across the city. We would like to invite you to attend one of our market engagement events for the Plymouth Extra Care Housing contract. The engagement events will be held virtually with additional plans being finalised to host in person open day events, providing an opportunity to visit the schemes. Further details will be shared at the virtual engagement sessions. In person events are likely to be scheduled between 28th April 2025 and 9th May 2025. Virtual Engagement Sessions 17th April 2025: 11.30am – 12.30pm (MS Teams) 25th April 2025: 2pm – 3pm (MS Teams) During the virtual sessions, we will describe our aims in terms of the contract and the procurement activity and timeframes and provide an opportunity for questions and answers. To express an interest in attending a virtual session, please e-mail JointCommissioning@plymouth.gov.uk with your details and preferred date in order that you can be included in the meeting register. The link to the virtual events will be sent to you prior to the event.
