Lot Information
Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) and Multiple Disadvantage Accommodation-Based Support
This provision will be specifically designed for women who are experiencing, or have a history of, Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and multiple disadvantage. The accommodation must be staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and equipped to support women with complex and high-risk needs.
Renewal: The initial term of the contract is 3 years with a permitted extension of 2 years. The maximum term for all 3 lots is 5 years.
Mental Health and Multiple Disadvantage Accommodation-Based SupportThe Authority requires 40 units of accommodation-based support under this Lot. While the Authority's contract will cover support services only, bidders must demonstrate their ability to provide suitable accommodation--either directly, through a consortium, or via sub-contracting arrangements. Accommodation costs will be met through rent and Housing Benefit. The Authority will not be party to any licence or lease agreements between the Provider and the accommodation landlord, and such arrangements will fall outside the scope of the contract. To be eligible, tender submissions requires 40 units with a minimum of 10 units of accommodation-based support located within a single site

Domestic Abuse Refuge for Women and Children Accommodation-Based SupportThe Authority is seeking a single Provider to deliver support services only for a Domestic Abuse Refuge Service within the borough of Westminster. This service will provide: Support to women and children fleeing domestic abuse, delivered Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a robust out-of-hours response in place.
Renewal: The initial term of the contract is 3 years with a permitted extension of 2 years. The maximum term for all 3 lots is 5 years.

The date of the online consultation workshop event will be Thursday 24th April at 3pm to 4.30pm. The workshop will explore the commissioning of Westminster based supported accommodation opportunities for women-only and is primarily aimed at existing and potential suppliers of these services, and suppliers of associated accommodation for Westminster women service users . It will also explore the timescales for procurements the implementation of the recently adapted Responsible Procurement policy and its impact on tenders To request your attendance please register - by end of 22nd April 2025 with schaudhry1@westminster.gov.uk
