The existing CCTV fibre system is connected via rented fibre. There is however a requirement to upgrade some of the circuits to digital fibre and create a new circuit to connect the CCTV system together to ensure our Police CCTV network remains operational.

Due to the cable being owned by Virgin they would only allow the upgrades to be conducted by themselves.
