Notice Description
NHS South West London Integrated Care Board (NHS SWL ICB) is seeking to appoint a provider for the Provision of Ophthalmology Services across the whole of South West London namely the six boroughs of Richmond, Kingston, Merton, Wandsworth, Sutton and Croydon. There are two key elements in this ophthalmology pathway for which NHS SWL ICB is looking to commission an appropriate provider(s); Lot 1 - A Community Eyecare Service to manage and deliver minor eyecare services in community and primary care optometry, and Lot 2 - A Secondary Care Single Point of Referral Management System.

Community Eyecare Services
NHS South West London Integrated Care Board (NHS SWL ICB) is seeking to appoint a provider for the Provision of Ophthalmology Services across the whole of South West London namely the six boroughs of Richmond, Kingston, Merton, Wandsworth, Sutton and Croydon. Lot 1 - A Community Eyecare Service to manage and deliver minor eyecare services in community and primary care optometry. The expected contract value for Lot 1 is PS1,450,000 per annum. Maximum Total Contract Value is PS10, 150,000. The Contract to be offered to the Recommended Bidder(s) at the end of this Procurement will be for an initial duration of five years, which is intended to run from 1 April 2026 until 31 March 2031 with a two-year contract extension up to 31 March 2033.
Options: There is a two year contract extension option.
Single Point of Referral Management System (SPoR)NHS South West London Integrated Care Board (SWL ICB) is seeking to appoint a provider for the Provision of Ophthalmology Services across the whole of South West London namely the six boroughs of Richmond, Kingston, Merton, Wandsworth, Sutton and Croydon. Lot 2 - Single Point of Referral Management System (SPOR) The expected contract value for Lot 2 is PS300,000 per annum. Maximum Total Contract Value is PS2,100,000. The Contract to be offered to the Recommended Bidder(s) at the end of this Procurement will be for an initial duration of five years, which is intended to run from 1 April 2026 until 31 March 2031 with a two-year contract extension up to 31 March 2033.
Options: There is a two year contract extension option
