Summary of the contracting process

Notting Hill Genesis, a public authority within sub-central government in the United Kingdom, is in the planning stage for its Fire Consultancy Framework tender. The framework aims to appoint expert fire professionals and engineers to handle fire safety and compliance matters in line with the new Fire Safety Act and Building Safety Act. This procurement, valued at £9,000,000, with a gross amount of £10,800,000, covers a period from 12th December 2025 to 11th December 2029. Key future notice date for communication is set for 17th June 2025. The project is based in London and falls under the industry categories of engineering services, risk or hazard assessment for construction, building consultancy services, and fire and explosion protection and control consultancy services.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for organisations specialising in fire engineering services and fire safety consultancy. Businesses involved in building surveying, health and safety consultancy, and hazard protection are particularly well-suited to compete for this framework agreement, which is designed to assess and mitigate fire risks in multi-occupancy and multi-storey buildings. The framework's potential division into various lots allows for diversity in service provisions, enabling smaller and specialised firms to participate effectively. The procurement method advocates inclusivity, adherence to regulatory standards, and comprehensive risk management strategies.
