Summary of the contracting process

Coventry City Council procured the hire of construction plant and vehicles with operators, mainly for highway works in Coventry. The equipment covered a 180-degree excavator with bucket and lifting forks, with or without a hydraulic breaker; telehandlers with reach up to and above 10 metres; an 80-tonne low loader; tracked 360-degree excavators with different ditching-bucket sizes; and four-, six- and eight-wheel trucks.
