Notice Description

**THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION ** This procurement is being concluded as a Direct Award . This requirement is above threshold and has been sourced via direct award against Schedule 5, 5 (a) due to a particular supplier having intellectual property rights or other exclusive rights, only that supplier can supply the goods, services or works required, and (b) there are no reasonable alternatives to those goods, services or works. Aims and Objectives The CCC require an update of the flood risk and adaptation analysis carried out in CCRA3. We require a supplier to carry out quantitative modelling to provide a robust and comparable evidence base to our previous assessment. The commissioned update should be constructed in a way that it can be linked to the separate CCC commission of a vulnerability dataset, which includes a flood vulnerability index. The commissioned analysis should: * Update CCRA3 flood risk analysis with the most recent input data on present day risk (e.g. from the 2024 National Flood Risk Assessment NaFRA2 for England). * Test the investment requirement to maintain present-day risk, using a range of adaptation measures within the current flood defence portfolio. * Assess the optimum level of investment for flood risk reduction.
