Notice Description

***CONTRACT DETAILS NOTICE*** Following an Open Tendering procedure against the Procurement Act 2024 regulations, for the provision of Electric Tow Tugs/Tractors and ancillary units (different trailer configurations) to Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This was done under UK4 Tender Notice reference FTS 2025/S 000-019765. The contract includes both the purchase outright/leasing model option for Tow Tractor units (including service/maintenance) and purchase outright model for the ancillary trailers as per the tender specification and depending on capital spending at the time.

Options: Under the Procurement Act 2023, there is provision of Direct Award which can be used for additional or repeat goods, services or works (including warranty and operational annual maintenance) from the same supplier where a contract has been awarded under a competitive tendering procedure. With this requirement being subject to tendering using the Procurement Act 2023 Open Competition Dialogue procedure, the Trust reserves the right to use the Direct Award procedure for subsequent procurements (using the UK5 Direct Award Procedure) after the initial period has lapsed above.
