Notice Information
Notice Title
McCloud RSS Administration for Practitioners and RPSS Administration
Notice Description
The scope covers specialist pension administration services to undertake complex manual benefit calculations linked to the McCloud Judgement. These services will allow production of Remediable Service Statements (RSS) for the caseload covering 'Practitioner' NHS Pension scheme members. These are typically the most complex cases from an administrative perspective. In addition, the contract scope will also cover manual calculations to allow production of Remediable Pension Savings Statements (RPSS).
Planning Information
The purpose of this market engagement is to refine our requirements and the procurement approach for delivery of this complex portion of McCloud-related work. Suppliers are invited to attend a presentation delivered by the NHS Pensions team. This will be followed by individual 1-2-1 discussions. The relevant dates have not yet been finalised, however, the intention is to complete this engagement exercise prior to Easter. Presentation: This virtual presentation will be run via Microsoft Teams and will last up to 60 minutes in duration. It will cover the requirements, progress to date and specific areas where clarification may be useful from the market. This is scheduled to take place on Friday 27th March at 11:00. To register for this event, please contact the Commercial Services Team (Pensions) at the following email address: commercialservicesteam@nhsbsa.nhs.uk. Individual Discussions: Following the presentation, interested suppliers may request a slot to attend a 1-2-1 discussion with the NHS Pensions team. Dates are still to be confirmed. A summary of any material points raised during these discussions will be shared with all suppliers who attended 1-2-1s. The currently anticipated timeline is as follows: Presentation - 27/03/2026 Individual Discussions - to be completed by 02/04/26 Refine requirements/approach and complete governance - from 02/04/25 until 11/05/26.
