This contract aims to deliver these services within the United Kingdom, particularly in the London area. The procurement falls under the health services category, using a limited procurement method. The process reached the award stage with a confirmation of contract awarded on 7 May 2025, following a Direct Award Process C under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The contract, valued at approximately £4,103,234 excluding VAT, commences on 1 April 2025 and runs until 31 March 2026, with a potential one-year extension. Organisations with a strong portfolio in innovative healthcare solutions, multidisciplinary collaborations, and the ability to provide culturally competent and community-based care are well-suited to compete. The award process reflects an emphasis on quality, integration, value for money, accessibility, and social value, providing a comprehensive framework for service delivery. The Royal Trinity Hospice, a small to medium enterprise, was selected, highlighting the openness of the NHS South West London Integrated Care Board to engage with smaller businesses adept at meeting stringent healthcare standards and contributing to social value and sustainability initiatives.
